You can now save any Office 2007 document as a PDF file using Microsoft's Add-In. The PDF format is the most versitile and digitally protected file format available. Most files used in eLearning (powerpoints, word docs, excel spreadsheets) should be converted to this format for online use.

Today in class I gave the students an extra credit assignment. Now that I’ve graded it, how do I give those points to my students in Elearning?

While Elearning does not offer a way to add extra credit points onto an assignment or quiz (for instance awarding 102 points to a 100 point assignment), there is a straight-forward method to dealing with extra credit.

There was a bit of confusion with some of my students when I had an assignment for them to download and a separate upload.  Some of the students would download the assignment and then upload it in the wrong area.  They would get all mixed up, and me too!  LOL
